Diet between 2 and 10 months

The Diet questionnaire (also known as SICOMIAM) was set up to complete the information collected at birth and at 2 months on feeding, and to find out in particular the duration of exclusive and mixed breastfeeding and the chronological order of introduction of different foods.

In theory, infants are fed exclusively on milk up to 3 months of age, after which their diet becomes varied. The age at which diversification begins is likely to influence growth, nutritional status and subsequent feeding behavior, as well as the onset of pathologies such as allergies.

Parents were asked to fill in a food monitoring questionnaire, either on paper or online, depending on the choice made during the 2-month interview.
