Contextual datasets
In addition to the constructed variables, users can access variables about the environment, measured at different geographical levels. Different datasets can be matched with the Elfe data. Variables may have to be grouped into larger categories to avoid direct identification.
Sources and lists of available data are described in a separate document.
Users who wish to use these variables should select them in the ‘BASES_CONTEXTUELLES' of the Catalogue_CADE file (for example, select Maternité, Urbanisation, etc.).
We will then match the data, and send them together. Names of establishments and place of residence (expect for regions) are not provided as they allow for direct identification.

Maternity ward variables, from the Enquête Nationale Périnatale (BC1)
Insee Urbanisation variables (BC4):
Urbanisation variables from 2010 (maternity ward to age 1),
Urbanisation variables from 2014 (from age 2 to 3.5),
Urbanisation variables from 2017 (from age 5.5).
Social disadvantage indicator at the town level (BC5 "FDEP")
